Uganda is an ideal fishing destination. With one third of the country covered by 
water; there is great opportunity for sport fishing. Nile Perch of up to 108 kg have been caught below the Falls in and Other fish you can catch include Tilapia, Tiger fish, Ngara (Genus alestes), Catfish and Barbel.
In lake Mburo National Park, you stand a chance to catch Tilapia, Catfish and Lungfish either off shore or in the deep waters depending on your preference. Though the park may have some basic equipment, we advise you to carry along with your own fishing gear.
